Week 4 Enabling Access

Today started by talking about WWW

What has worked for me since the last time we met?
I have made a Multi Modal site for an assignment. Set up a google group to use with staff at school, I was surprised that I could remember how to do it. I am also enjoying to using googe keep tick boxes and am loving Tobi.What hasn’t worked (or made sense)?
What hasn’t worked (or made sense)?
Nothing major at the moment, althought I would like to spend more time on my class site and start to develop my groups and buttons.

Today we focus on Share / Tohatoha

No matter what the work is sharing is so important.

On top of what we have learnt about sharing, I also believe that sharing instantly in class time  (in the moment) with either of the teacher aides is important. I have a sharing time set every day for my learners to share their work with their parents daily.

I am looknig forward to sharing this with my class and 2 of my own children who are 12 and 9.


Deep Dive  - 

Exploring a selection of class google sites, I found this an excellent way to look at what works well and what does not. I can now make some awesome changes to my own class site.

Favourite part of the day.

I have made a load of changes to my class site. It now has buttons! Best of all my site now has sharing rights. Therefore, I am truly putting the sharing aspect of today into practice.

It was great that you were able to share your work and use the feedback of your colleagues to add to your efforts. Well done on making the most of this great opportunity.

  2. Well done Kimberly on using the new information you have been learning to make changes to your class site. We are learning a lot of new information and I have found that using it directly with my own students as soon as possible reinforces the learning for me.
