Week 1. Core Business

Digital Fluency Intensive 2019 Day One

20 March 2019

Today I started the Manaiakalani Digital Fluency Intensive. We started the day off with a small introduction, where I was rather nervous. But turned out easy and we just had to speak to our slide.

From there Dorothy Burt spoke about The Manaiakalani Origins.

We were remindered to label, organise, date and file our work in the correct places.

We spent the day learning about the below tools and groups.

So what:
- To set up all students ipads with their personal drive
- To teach them how to use the basics of Google Docs

- To use voice typing in the class, especially with the students who have good oral language but struggle with writing.
